A night nanny is an overnight nanny/nurse who specialises in looking after new-born babies, especially within a family which has both parents working or a family which only has a single working parent. This kind of help allows the parent/s to sleep through the night instead of having to get up for night feeds.

You can also help families which have other small children who may need help in getting the other children fed, bathed and put to bed.

You will need references, as well as a lot of experience with new-born and very young babies in order to gain the trust of new mothers and to be able to offer them advice.

The more you know and can deal with, the more you can charge for your services.

You can also start training others and create a team of night nannies.
